With deep regrets, we inform the EKC2022 community that Dr. Bernard Bigot, ITER Director-General, has passed away on 14 May, 2022. Dr. Bigot graciously agreed to give a pleanary talk at the EKC2022, which we will miss sadly. As the EKC2022 organizing committee, we send our deepest condelences to his family and his friends.
